I offer Zoom sessions. You get the same benefits as meeting in person. You work with your dog during the entire session as I demonstrate the games with my dog. I watch you work with your dog, giving you helpful tips to ensure you and your dog are getting the most out of our training session.
As with all my clients, I send you session notes so you know how to work with your dog between training sessions. I am available to answer questions via email and text.
Tips for an effective Zoom session:
- Before the session walk your dog and let them have a toilet break
- Have treats cut up and ready for the session
- Set up your computer so you are comfortable and you and your dog are on screen
- Limit distractions such as other dogs, children, TV in the background. Set this time aside for you and your dog
- Write down your questions and any issues you’ve had during the week that you want to discuss and work on
- In order to progress do your homework with your dog. The games can be played in 30 seconds. Training sessions with your dog should be no longer than 3 minutes several times a day. Take advantage of lengthy commercial breaks, or while you are waiting for the microwave to warm up food, or for coffee or tea.
